Change color scheme and logo

We have added the ability to customize the color scheme and to add your company logo to a WorkPoint 365 solution.

  1. From the selection of themes on the "change the look" page click on the theme titled "current theme" or "WorkPoint"

  1. After selecting the WorkPoint theme you can select the color scheme you want to use

  1. From the site settings page click on "Title, Description, and Logo"

Advanced color scheme adjustment

I the following section you will learn how to create a custom color scheme with Microsoft SharePoint Color Palette Tool, upload it and use it together with you WorkPoint theme.

  1. Find the WorkPoint theme on the composed looks page
  2. Click here to download the color palette file

  1. Download SharePoint palette tool and launch the program
  2. Open the downloaded color palette file or start from scratch without loading an existing color palette file
  3. If you want to start from scratch use the seattle layout to ensure that it will work together with the WorkPoint theme

  1. Click the color you want to change

  1. To make it easy to find your color scheme once it has been uploaded you can change the preview slot colors to colors you easily can recognize

  1. Start the filename with a 0 (zero) to have it listed as the first choice when presented with all the different color palettes to choose from

  1. Although my example is not exactly pretty, I hope you are all set to create your own color scheme and logo to make your WorkPoint 365 solution match the look and feel you want.
Roll out the custom theme

When you are happy with your custom colors and selected logo you are ready to initialize a rollout of the new theme

  1. Find the theme menu in the left hand pane and click on it

Click the botton to begin the theme rollout. Be advised that the theme rollout is time consuming. Expect 45 seconds handling time pr. site.
