This supports scenarios such as shared inbox handling, invoice processing, case creation, and other mailbox-driven business processes.

New Features
WorkPoint Mail Assistant
Mail Assistant is a cloud based automation feature for WorkPoint 365 that can monitor configured mailboxes and process incoming e-mails automatically.
Instead of relying on users to manually file e-mails from Outlook, Mail Assistant evaluates incoming messages in the background and processes them according to configured rules. This makes it possible to automatically journalize e-mails, store attachments, update metadata, create or update entities, and start other WorkPoint Automate processes based on the content or context of an incoming e-mail.
A Mail Assistant setup is based on profiles. Each profile defines which mailboxes should be monitored, which e-mails should be included or excluded, and which WorkPoint Automate processes should run when matching e-mails are found. This allows organizations to support different scenarios, such as shared inbox handling, invoice processing, case creation, supplier communication, or other mailbox-driven business processes.
At a high level, the Mail Assistant pipeline monitors selected mailboxes, detects incoming e-mails, applies filtering rules, evaluates the relevant processing logic, executes the configured WorkPoint Automate process, and logs the result. This provides a traceable and configurable way to move business-critical communication from individual or shared inboxes into the correct WorkPoint context.
Mail Assistant also includes processing history and error handling options, making it possible to monitor activity, troubleshoot failed processing, and re-process e-mails when needed.
