1. Introduction
It is possible for customers to disable an active WorkPoint Express user, which releases that user's license. This license can immediately be used by another user in WorkPoint Express. This is useful if e.g. an employee leaves the organization, and is being replaced by a new employee. The former employee's license for WorkPoint Express can be released, and can immediately be used by the new employee.
Please note that if a user is disabled, only WorkPoint can re-enable the user before 60 days have passed since last access/activity, and that this includes a fee. Please contact WorkPoint support at support@workpoint.dk for more information.
2. Disabling a user license
To disable an active user's WorkPoint Express license, follow these steps:
- In the WorkPoint Administration, in the left side menu click "WorkPoint Express".
- In the WorkPoint Express page, click "View users" for the WorkPoint Express solution for which you wish to disable a license. WorkPoint Express solutions can be distinguished by their Solution IDs.
- In the "WorkPoint Express Users" page, click "Disable" for the user whose license you wish to disable.
- In the confirmation window, click "OK" to confirm the disabling of the user license.
Once the disabling id confirmed, the user license is moved to the "Inactive Users | Disabled Users" list:
The license is now free to be used by another user.
