1. Feature description
Users in WorkPoint journalize e-mails into document libraries in SharePoint. For this purpose, the Email content type has been used.
WorkPoint has developed a new content type for this purpose: The WorkPoint365 Email content type.
Due to the fact that the WorkPoint365 Email content type contains site columns, this makes the content type easier to maintain, and e-mail libraries with site columns also improves search capabilities for e-mails in WorkPoint 365.
The standard WorkPoint Email content type includes columns with internal names which follow the following internal name convention:
- wpTo
- wpFrom
- wpSubject
- ...
The WorkPoint365 Email content type includes columns with internal names which follow the following internal name convention:
- wpEmailTo
- wpEmailFrom
- wpEmailSubject
- ...
The fields for both content types can be inspected in WorkPoint 365 or in the WorkPoint Express settings:
- If the WorkPoint365 Email content type does not exist in your WorkPoint Express settings, you can add it by clicking "Add WorkPoint365 Email content type". The system automatically adds all necessary fields to the configuration, but you must select a File name postfix format yourself.
