WorkPoint Express version 5.9.5.5 was released on the 21st of April 2020.
New features
Integration to Sigma
Sigma is a 3rd party tool used for managing specific data types. With the integration to Sigma, it will be possible to create Sigma-files via WorkPoint’s document wizard directly from WPE and save it in WorkPoint. If the user opens an existing Sigma-file locally from their computer and wants to save it to their WorkPoint solution, properties and metadata from the Sigma file will automatically be carried over into WorkPoint.
As part of the Sigma integration, WorkPoint Express will now support synchronization of SharePoint Framework Apps from master sites to all site collections within the module.
Add comment to email journal
When journalizing an email, users will now be able to add a comment to the email journal rather than the email itself. This way it will be possible to add multiple comments if an email is journalized to multiple entities as each journaling will then have a separate comment. Additional information is now listed for each email journal. With this new feature, users will now also experience a small panel in the bottom of the email body, when the view their journalized emails in Outlook. The panel displays various information about the entities, which the email is journalized to.
Delegate mailbox
Individual users will be able to delegate their mailbox to a colleague for specific time period. This is used when a user is unavailable for a period of time, and a colleague should have access to incoming emails within that same period. This function is also managed by team leaders.
Use views – for partners only
In WPE, it will now be possible to use views on document/item lists so that only the documents/items which match the criteria of the view are displayed. Users cannot make new views directly in WorkPoint Express, but can use existing views made in WorkPoint 365.
This feature is currently only available to our partners on request as an early preview as this feature will receive multiple updates in the near future. Please contact support@workpoint.dk if you are interested in having this feature enabled.
