Q: How often is the normal user cache refreshed automatically?
A: The normal user cache is automatically cleared and rebuilt every 24 hours.

Q: Why is a newly added user still treated as a Limited User right after being added to the Normal users security group?
A: When a user is added to the Entra ID security group that is configured as the Normal users group for a WorkPoint 365 solution, the change is not reflected in real-time. WorkPoint relies on a cached list of normal users (visible in the "Actual normal users cached" list on the Limited Users administration page), which is refreshed on a 24-hour schedule. Until the next scheduled refresh — or until the cache is refreshed manually — the newly added user will continue to be treated as a Limited User in that solution.

Q: Can I force a refresh without waiting 24 hours?
A: Yes. A WorkPoint Administrator can trigger a manual refresh by clicking Refresh cache on the Limited Users administration page. After the cache has been refreshed, the user should also reset their local WorkPoint cache in the browser for the change to take effect in their session.

Q: Can the cache refresh be triggered programmatically (e.g. from a Power Automate flow)?
A: There is currently no public WorkPoint REST API endpoint documented for triggering the normal user cache refresh. If this is a requirement for your onboarding scenario, please use this form to log it as a feature request.
