New features
Drag and Drop to start processes
Store content in seconds. The June 2026 update introduces drag and drop from Outlook, allowing you to add emails and attachments directly into the WorkPoint Express 365 Task Pane without extra steps.
WorkPoint administrators can configure a single process to run automatically when an email is dropped into a WorkPoint view, or prompt users to choose from a list of email-enabled processes giving you full control over how emails are journalised, leveraging the power of WorkPoint Automate.
Alternatively, you can enable simple drag and drop upload directly to document libraries. Emails are stored as .eml files and attachments are saved as documents within your managed solution.
You can learn more about how to configure and enable Drag and Drop functionality in WorkPoint Express 365 in the support article here. You can also read a more comprehensive description of the feature in this article.
Improvements
- Improved Multi-Item Selection in Document Libraries: Now, when multi-Item selection is enabled, WorkPoint Express 365 allows selection of up to 100 items. If users refine selections, the application ensures a maximum of 100 are selected for process launch.
- Application State and Preferences Behaviour now stored as Microsoft Graph extension data: Previously, application state such as the last open entity and view, and user preferences such as the selected Business Module view, were stored in Outlook local storage. To support WorkPoint Express 365 across other Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, this data is now stored using Microsoft Graph extensions. This enables a seamless experience where views, state and preferences are preserved as users move between applications.
- Swedish Language Support: The WorkPoint Express 365 UI and controls now support the Swedish locale.
- Improved Grid View: General improvements to the presentation and alignment of columns such as multi-user and multi-line text fields in Grid View. Multi-item fields now display on a full line with consistent positioning, making it easier to scan, identify and navigate entities and items.
Bug fixes
- WorkPoint Express 365 Error Message: Fixed an issue where a generic "We couldn't find what you were looking for" message appeared when non-default SharePoint list views exceeded the view threshold.
- View selector nor available: Resolved an issue where the "View as " selector (List / Compact List / Grid) was inaccessible with many views and views were not sorted alphabetically.
