1. Introduction
Adaptive expressions is a powerful way of creating custom behaviours in WorkPoint Automate. The language itself is created by Microsoft and comprehensive documentation and help when various functions can be found in this article (External link).
In the editor for adaptive expressions in the Process Builder, WorkPoint provides help with creating adaptive expressions in the specific process context in the form of an AI assistant, who can help develop expressions based on user prompts:
This can be a very helpful tool in creating or editing complex adaptive expressions in your WorkPoint processes.
2. Accessing the Expression Helper
The expression helper can be opened by going into Advanced mode on any field in the process builder, no matter that field or property.
Open the "Advanced" mode for a field property:
In the field configuration panel, switch to the Advanced view:
Click the "Create expressions with assistant powered by AI" button:
Type your prompt in the WorkPoint Assistant panel, wait for the response. Click the "Add expression" button to add the result to the active field configuration.
