This release introduces several improvements across WorkPoint 365, with a focus on security, usability, and extended automation capabilities. The WorkPoint 365 installer now uses Sites.Create.All by default for new solutions, supporting our continued move toward a least-privilege permission model.

We have also improved the Process Builder experience, with new options to hide conditional steps until they become relevant and collapse selected steps into more manageable sections. In addition, Automate Managed Metadata fields now support adding terms to open term sets, while HTTP actions now support PATCH operations, providing more flexibility when building integrations and automated processes.

Alongside these improvements, the release includes a series of bug fixes and reliability improvements across WorkPoint 365, addressing issues in several areas of the platform.

New features

Sites.Create.All default permission

From this update onward, the WorkPoint 365 installer will use the Sites.Create.All permissions scope by default when installing new solutions. This is part of the ongoing Least-privilege approach, which you can read more about in the WorkPoint Partner Portal soon.

Product improvements

Hide conditional steps in the step overview

This product improvement adds better control over how conditional steps are shown in the Process Builder step overview. It allows steps that are configured to be skipped based on preconditions to be hidden from the overview until they are actually relevant, which makes the process easier for users to understand and avoids showing unnecessary system or informational steps.

Collapsible step sections

This update also introduces the ability to collapse selected steps in the overview into a single expandable group, helping keep long processes more compact and easier to navigate. In addition, the improvement ensures that the active step remains visible and automatically scrolled into view, improving usability in larger processes.

Import Pre-check Spaces: Fixed an issue where the solution import pre-check could fail with a GUID conversion error when a business module list title contained a space. (64056)
Notification Import Fix: Fixed an issue where solution template imports could fail when notifications were enabled but no notification profiles were configured, preventing the import from completing successfully. (64056)
Invalid Expression Handling: Resolved an issue where processes with invalid expressions could get stuck on the loading screen instead of loading the form and showing the error gracefully. (64395)
Attachment-Only Journalizing: Fixed an issue where attachments were not saved when journalizing with email messages excluded and attachments included. (64078)
