Name entries in the Journal Webpart

Article published on the 4th of November, 2021.

Items created or modified on entity sites will show up in the Journal webpart in the top panel of WorkPoint 365 solutions.

An example of this is shown in the following image:

Test 2 - Documents - All Documents - Google Chrome

In the image, we can see three elements. Two of them are images which have been uploaded to some library on the entity site. In this case, we can see that the image has been uploaded or modified by the user Chris Butler.

We can also see a Word document, but this document has three names attached to it in the Journal webpart.

These names are collected from the document's properties, as seen in the following image:

When multiple people are shown for a document in the Journal webpart, the names mentioned are ordered as follows: The first name(s) are the author(s) of the document. This can be one or multiple people.

Note that if a document is created by one person but which is based on a template document authored by another person, the author of the template may be displayed in the Journal webpart.

After the author(s) the person who last edited the document will be displayed in the Journal webpart.

In the example shown in the first image of this article, we can see the two authors of the document as shown in second image (Anders Møker and Chris Butler), as well as the person who last edited the document (Edward Dean).
