WorkPoint Automate - Item Search Form

The Item Search Form allows you to add a form to your process in which the user can search for an item (e.g. an entity in a business module) and save the search result into the process context.

This search result can then be grabbed from the context and used in a subsequent step in the process.

An example of the use of the Item Search Form is a process which searches for projects in a Projects business module, and uses the output search result to change the entity's stage.

Parameters

Parameter name Type Description
Title String Use this field to give the step a friendly title.
Description String Use this field to give the step a description of use.
Name String Use this field to give this step a unique name used for identification.

Object Use this field to select an output from a previous step as input for this step.
Business Module String Use this field to select a business module.
Business Module Entity String Use this field to select a business module entity.
List String Use this field to select the list in which to search for an item.
View

Use this field to select the view to display in the Item Search form.
Allow Multi Select Boolean Use this toggle to decide if users should be able to select multiple items in the search results.
Create Item Process String Use this field to select a process which can be used to create new items from this form.
Rendering Template String Use this field to select an adaptive card to be used to render the search result.
