1. Introduction
Steps used in WorkPoint Automate may include several fields and properties. Some of these are always the same for each step and some vary from step to step.
In this article, we will describe the properties found in the "General" tab for each step in WorkPoint Automate.
2. General properties
The General tab on every step includes the following properties:

Title | Yes | The title of the step. Does not have to be unique. |
| generalDescription |
Description | No | Here you can add a description to the step. |
| generalName |
Name | Yes | A unique name for this specific step, used for identification. |
| generalContinueButtonTitle | Continue button title |
No | Use this field to add a custom text to the Continue button. If left blank, the button will read "Continue". |
| generalContext | Step Input | No | A reference input step, used to connect this step to a previous step. Makes it possible for this step to use output data from a previous step. |
