Note that running system processes requires an active connection. You can set up a connection in the Process Builder.
The "When an entity is created" trigger will execute the subsequent steps in the process once an entity is added to the monitored business module list.
An example of use could be on a case management solution, where the system sends an e-mail to a team leader when a case worker adds a new case in the system.
When adding the "When an entity is created" trigger, you should see the following:
Properties
Title | Type | Required | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Title | String | Yes | The title of this trigger. This title is displayed only in the process builder and when inspecting instances of this process. |
Business module | String | Yes | The business module which you want to monitor for entity creation. |
Trigger status | Boolean | Yes | The status of this specific trigger. Can be used to temporarily disable a trigger, e.g., for debugging purposes. |
