The Item form step is used for inputting meta data for items like Tasks, Risks, and so on. Examples of meta data could be the person responsible for the item, a due date, or a status.

It is often used in collaboration with e.g. an "Update item" step, in order to input new meta data or changing existing data, which can then be saved using the "Update item" step.

An example of such a setup could look like the following:

Parameter name Type Required Description
Business Module String Yes Use this field to select a business module.
Entity Integer Yes Use this to define the ID of the business module entity.
List String Yes Use this to define the entity site list in which the item is to be saved.
Content type String No Use this to define the content type of the item.This defined which fields are shown in the form.

Boolean No Use this field to define whether the user should be able to change between content types in the form.
