The Time displacement form step is used for choosing settings for how to time displace an entity about to be created.
Entity and list date and time fields can be time displaced to a fixed date, or be time displaced relative to the original entity.
A typical use case for time displacement is in a Case Management solution, where an organization works with frequently occurring copies of cases, e.g. financial statements, which must be worked out once every year, for example.
Instead of creating new cases for these purposes, a previous financial statement can simply be copied and time displaced by e.g. a year and various content e.g. from templates, can be copied over and reset.

Displacement type lock | Boolean | Use this field to set the Type field read-only when the form is displayed to users. |

Period lock | Boolean | Use this field to set the "Period" field read-only when the form is displayed to users. |
Interval | Integer | If Type is "Relative", use this field to select by how many of the "period" field to displace the entity by, e.g. 2 years. |
Interval lock | Boolean | Use this field to set the "Interval" field read-only when the form is displayed to users. |
